What is a chemical peel?

Chemical peels are safe, non-invasive treatments that are effectively used to rejuvenate damaged skin, reduce wrinkles & blemishes, and restore uneven pigmentation. Is a chemical peel the same as chemical exfoliation?

Chemical exfoliation is a type of chemical peel, but for the purposes of our clinic, it uses different acidic solutions. Moreover, chemical peel solutions are more acidic and deeper penetrating than chemical exfoliations. Chemical exfoliations are sometimes referred to as “superficial peels”.

    Corinna was recommended by a friend and I, in turn, cannot recommend her enough! She has performed dermaplaning and botox treatments on my face and also worked with me to fill out my deep neck lines, which have been a major pain point … More area for me since I was a kid. She is honest, upfront, and takes the time to fully explain her recommendations to you and the possible side effects. If she doesn't believe something will work, she will let you know, which I greatly appreciate as some companies care more about money than results. Corinna is also super personable, which is key when you are spending 1.5 hours with her at a time 🙂 I am amazed at the results that she was able to achieve on both my neck and face and will definitely be back!
